Beijing blues

Post by wightman »

I miss my Beemers so much when I'm in China, that every time I see a CJ 750 I stop and drool for a few minutes. There are several outfits in Beijing which fit nice accessories as well as a sidecar on the left, if needed, to conform with traffic flow in left hand drive countries. The sidevalve 24hp bike is still being made, just like the wartime R71 but they also do an overhead valve model, sort of similar to the 70's era airhead.

Cool

I can just make out the front end. Presumably a Brembo copy caliper and disc for brakes attached to some sort of Earles type fork.
What a strange mix of old and new.
