Ride to Yarloop and Lane Poole

Took a ride down to Yarloop then up over the Darling Scarp to Lane Poole Reserve today.

There was still a lot of activity on South West Highway to clear burnt trees near the road.

I took a few videos. The first was coming down the Darling Scarp on Waterous Road which is just north of the Wagerup Refinery and has an abattoir which was partially burnt.

The intensity and heat of the fire is evident in this part of Yarloop.

Further videos will be posted on the Yarloop - Hoffman Mill Road and Driver Road.

The route then went across the Murray River at Howse Drive and returned to Dwellingup on Murray Road.

I only saw three vehicles between Yarloop and the Pinjarra - Williams Road.....a ute, a motorcycle and a thumping great log truck. Good reasons to take blind corners in the scree.
