Chris, Jamie and myself had a great day out in the Perth hills and on to York, the tracks were in great condition with the rain yesterday keeping the dust down but dry enough and no mud.
I had to repair a puncture on the Great Eastern Highway on the way home (thanks Chris ) but other than that a great day out riding.

They are tubes and normally don't have a problem breaking the bead on these, usually break quite easily with Tyre levers.
Tubeless aren't as easy, Ive used a G clamp to squeeze the Tyre together before but it's not easy, you can buy bead breakers but I don't know the best ones to get, I'm sure someone will know.

I usually do all my own tyre changing at home and have struggled to break the bead on some tubeless tyres. Do a search on YouTube (seriously) cause there are some good ideas out there. Most times now, i use some lengths of timber and blocks of wood to use as fulcrums and levers to break beads....i use my Hilux as a 'brace' with a piece of 4 x 2 as a lever. Works a treat but still takes some doin' sometimes.

They might be ok for for typical oem tubed rims with a tall flat lip shod with nice soft mx tyres but I wouldn't buy them for a tubeless rim (like on the R1200GS) shod with a rigid sidewalled dual sport tyre.

For a stubborn bead stuck to the rim (aren't they all?), you need to plenty of downward movement at the point of pressure on the tyre. The youtube video linked by Digger shows the range you'll need. I changed my HP2 rear tyre last week and I reckon the tyre moved 5cm downwards before the bead broke away. The Motion Pro doesn't appear to give the range of movement necessary - I'm guessing 1cm, maybe 2cm max.

I bought the Beadbrakr from Bestrest Products. It works everytime. I've broken beads on my KTM640Adv, two GSA's, DR, two Africa Twins and HP2 without any issue. It can mark your rim if you're not careful but a couple of strips of rubber channel from Clark Rubber in the right spot fixes that. The Bead Brakr is a little weighty... I'd consider shelling out for the Ti version if buying again. Edit: looks like the Ti version is no longer available.
