Excellent night...thanks for organising.

Happy to report no rats in the screen door on my return home.

Bill, thank you for your efforts, last night went very well, a lot of chatter and fellowship and raised another $300+ for the Postie ride :)

A great night was had by all with 40 people ended up attending the event. Much camaraderie , good food and abundant wine in a nice comfortable atmosphere set up by the hotel staff led to a very successful function.
Chris and Bec won the door prize, a BMW tail bag donated by Auto Classic BMW. AC also donated a model of the R-10 T which was put up for auction and led to spirited bidding with Terri-Anne taking the winning bid. Other items auctioned included high quality welding gloves, electrical circuit testers and box's of toothpaste which raised $300 plus going towards Cookie's postie bike ride for prostrate cancer. Kots tried to auction his room he had booked at he hotel for the night but everyone had already made plans for the night and the offer was not taken up and the fully paid room remained unoccupied for the night.others that stayed the night enjoyed their room with a wood burning open fireplace providing a nice warm romantic atmosphere :P The party went on till about 11pm when the stragglers left. Dinger announced he was off to Adelaide the next morning, others not staying at the pub headed home, with no one taking the camp up the road option.
Doris and myself went for a walk around the dam first thing in the morning just before the rain started to pelt down. The location was very pleasant with huge numbers of kangaroos and numerous different birds in abundance as we walked thru the bush. The approaching rain with big black clouds shortened our walk and we headed home soon after.

I think Alex and I have the cleanest teeth in the Club this week thanks to that box of clog ate donated by our Club dentist!

I think the circuit thing I bought at auction would probably be much safer in the hands of Colin or someone who is qualified to use it. Rest assured however it will go in to the box on the bike for our Club rides (weekend and longer).

Chris you must have something special to keep Alex entertained on that phone of yours as long as you did - she NEVER does that with me!

Thanks for a great night every one.

Thanks to Bill (and no doubt, Doris) for organizing a fab XMAs in July (in August) evening at the Mundaring Weir Pub.

Fun, laughter, a constant stream of quality quips, hearty food, wine and beer, motorbike chatter, door prizes, raising funds for fixing prostates. What more could you want?
Loved the venue. Good service all round. Comfortable rustic surroundings and a warm fire.

My auction windfall was put to good use digging out and planting Roses on Sunday. Thickest leather welding gloves I've ever used and no more splinters from the firewood.

A good weekend for Club member activities.

Circa 40 people at the Dinner.
Circa 10 riders out at the 40th Border Run.

Awesome, awesome, awesome... :P
