Well done to Bill and his merry men and Doris I suspect, a great morning at Auto Classic, lots of people taking the new BM's for a run, I think AC might have signed the odd bike up and they certainly sold truckloads of helmets including one for my good self.
Will be interesting to know how much was raised for the RFDS.

Shame I couldn't make it this morning - well done Bill and all concerned.

Have made an donation direct to RFDS (basically four sausages and buns worth!)

A big thank you to club members and others who attended the SS and generously donated over a $1000 to help out the RFDS. A big thanks to the BBQ cooks Bowe, Tom, Graeme Jono and others who helped with the BBQ duties. AC donated a couple of prizes for the raffle we ran during the event. Graeme won the first prize a model of the R-Nine-T with Jamie initially collecting 2nd prize only to find out his ticket was the wrong colour. The tickets were drawn again with Brian H winning the BMW teddy bear.
Overall a great morning with many taking advantage of test riding bikes and picking up great bargains of M/C gear at hugely reduced prices AC provided for the event.
We ended up selling about 80 SS in a buns. The coffee van that AC arranged provided the one or two latte drinkers with ample supplies during the morning.
Overall a great event.

A great morning, plenty of interaction with wider AC community and fellow club members.

Thank you to Bill and all the helpers for a job well done.

Very embarrassing regarding the raffle ticket ,considering I was holding about 20 tickets for people who couldn't be there for the draw , all I can say I tried
A big thanks to the club and ac for organising the morning

Well done guy and gals I can't give an exact $ raised as we were using some sealed RFDS donation tins. But taking the tally from the sausage sizzle and our earlier fund raising for RFDS along with a modest estimate of what the cans would hold I would estimate a little north of $1300. I will ask the RFDS to let us know what it comes out to, but in any case a great effort thanks to all of you who came along and the many good folk who helped out on the BBQ, selling tickets etc and a bIg thank you to Doris for chopping vast quantities of onions !
Jonas and his team did us proud and there was a minor stampede for some great bargains on helmets, gloves and jackets, it was a good day 8)
