Medivac to Southern Cross by ambo and RFDS to RPH.
2 broken ribs and a punctured lung... He should live.
It occurs to me that I have remiss in updating this post - my apologies to everyone who wished me well and a belated thank you.

I ended up up with seven ribs busted and a punctured lung all on the left-hand side. I have no recollection of anything for around thirty minutes or so before the event, during the event and through the following day or so.

My current state is "HAPPY" but still tender. I have a new toy in the shed and I'm finally off the serious painkillers, although just occasionally, I'm reminded how well they worked.

So, my thanks to all who posted on the website and:
The Southern Cross St Johns Ambulance crew
The Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Southern Cross locals who gave their time and resources
The Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Royal Perth Hospital

I am humbled by the care, concern and support shown to both Becky and me during this time. Thank you.

Some people are like Slinkys, you can't help smiling when you push them downstairs.

Awww...Schucks.
I know _Wilks would be disappointed if I didn't mention that "I don't mean to profit from your misery but"...
You gave me some material that I can work with.
Glad you're on the mend and congrats on your new possession. :P

Due to some covert operations around Brigadoon. I got photos of your new bike. Since you have mention it, I didnt what to spoil your announcement of the new bike.
I like the way you've gone with the light weight option, good fuel economy, back up drive system, upside down forks.
Winner all round

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
