Lake Dumbleyung Weekend

Post by old betsy »

If anyone is interested, myself and another will be leaving on the Friday. Heading south to stay at the secret location I showed some of you on the " I'm not telling you ride" which is near Collie. Should anyone else like to travel down with us or just rock up and meet us on the Friday night just let me know.

Hey Betsy, Do you know where we will be camped?
It is on the South-East corner of the 'island', down the hill

Thanks Lefty

After Collie we will be taking the long around to the Lake. So by the time we get there you will have fresh coffee and scone made for us.

I will be leaving Catalano's (Vic. Park) at 8:3o am Saturday for a leisurely ride to Dumbleyung,if you want to ride in a group.
We will probably go Williams, Narrogin, Wagin, Dumbleyung.
Don't forget, you will need to bring your own everything.
Essential supplies (beer, bread etc. available in Dumbleyung, or Wagin.
For those not enjoying the gravel, I will be getting to the Lake via Dumbleyung-Katanning Rd, then Bullock Hills (about 8k's, good gravel)
You can get there from Wagin, but that is about 26? k's of gravel.
The weather forecast looks OK so you won't need knobby tyres to get in or out of the campsite which is (normally) hard clay.
Look for signs to find where we are camping (South-East corner of the 'island')

See you there
