Apparently its their Club Ride. I dont care who's Club Ride it is. We know how it started btw
2017 : Far Riders :As I grabbed a 6-Pack and we walked across the road to the Campsite to have a chat with Harry,Dave and Nick one of their Member who calls himself "Mutley" did have some choice words for me.
Something about F-Off and don't come back. It didn't rankle me as I would never bring myself into disrepute replying to anyone who's missed the point of the day so badly( or the point of living). I'll go again if I want I'm not worried about "Mutley". That year I did hear two of the Border Village staff complaining of the "illegal Camping" over the road.........(Harry from Jerramungup :K100 outfit wife and friends). Personally I suspect the writing may be "on the wall". I just thought I'd share this because as an event its slowly changing in its nature.
Some acquaintances from over east are talking about riding their R100Rs Twin Shocks over for a jaunt. ADV Forums Boxerboy81 and ME109. That would get me back there.
Anyway live long and prosper fellow Club members. I'll be on the RS next week getting some klics on it before its top end jetting Dyno Run.

Spandau Ballet,

The Far Riders are Jonny-come-lately to the Border Village on the first Saturday in August. No drama. Good to see riders out there enjoying the country. Would be good, however, to see more riders turning out to the good-old Border Run. One way to fix that is to get BMWMCCWA members interested in the event. It is one of my favourite rides! Maybe I need to get to a monthly meeting or two and spread the word? Haha...

Hi a number of us had our 50th birthdays at the border years ago next year we are all 65 young so could be another good party. A couple of years ago a lady from that lot asked me why are you coming on our ride so I took her around to the photo and asked her do you reconise any body. Someone asked Dave Ward how many times he had been out there his reply was katey his blue healer had been 5 times. I always thought the Eyer Highway was a public road even when it was dirt

Rhonda was in Norseman last evening headed home. That Spyder of hers seems to have given her wings! She will surely be a starter for the Border Run in 2019.
