Egad! I arrived at Cats this morning with lots of air in the back tyre but not much in the front. Blokes rallied around and we whipped a new tube into the front wheel. Gotta love the Club spirit! I normally carry a finilec foam canister and patches, BUT! I think there is a lesson in here somewhere. Between Kenny's rodeo boots, Lefty's persistent hammering and Guy's levering with a tyre lever designed for a mack truck, we did get on top of things. I must thank all that assisted and free b**rs shall be forthcoming at the next Club meeting at Vic Park Hotel, to those that assisted.
