Can I borrow an exhaust nut spanner?

Post by John C »

Hi Folks,

I'm on the scrounge ... again.

The new exhaust headers turned up this week, and if possible I'd like to get them on the bike this weekend.

So, has anybody get an airhead exhaust nut spanner I could borrow, please?

Pretty please? ...

I'm in West Leederville, so I'd prefer it if I could arrange something North of the river.

The club has one in our vast club tool array. Available from Bill Emery.

Thanks Pete,

I called around at Bill's place this evening and collected the spanner.

However, I did manage to get horribly lost on the way and arrived at Bill's place half an hour later than the ETA I'd given Bill as I was leaving the office.

That's why I'd asked if there was someone North of the river who could help me out ... 8)

On the other hand, I suppose I should consider tonight's adventure as a nocturnal training run, because I think by the time Clarissa is "fettled" to my satisfaction I'll be able to find my way to Bill's place blind-fold.
