Over the years I have traveled to many great destinations and ridden to attend some terrific functions and met with people from all walks of life and over the course of time made many good friends and acquaintances!!
I have enjoyed the pleasures of owning and riding a variety of BMW's and also another unmentionable brand that I currently own but due to the generous good nature and accommodation of this great club I have been permitted to retain my membership!!
I have been the recipient and butt of many jokes and asides but have also dished out my fair share of the same to various unfortunate individuals in return, but it has always been done in good humour and fun has been accepted as such by most and is one of the endearing things of belonging to this wonderful all encompassing club.
I have always had the best interests of the club in mind and as a result endeavour whenever possible to attract new members to attend Catalano's on a Sunday morning for the purpose of convincing them they should join the club and benefit from all it has to offer!
So it was with warm heart and with the best of intentions that I successfully attracted yet another possible member to Cat's this morning and it was wonderfully pleasing to see so many members old stalwarts and new embrace and accept this person with so much enthusiasm and sharing that whilst observing this transference of minds and knowledge between individuals from a discreet distance actually brought tears to my eyes!!
My mission was successfully accomplished so thank you to all those that sacrificed their time and their ears for such a great cause :
Also Thank You Rob for your most generous dollar donation which enabled me to successfully bid for an awesome riding jacket kindly put up for sale by Alex of which I passed on to a more deserving member gratis as such is my generous nature to do so
PS: Hurry back from Thailand Dave as I am going broke paying for my own toast on a Sunday!!
