Swampy
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Re: Thursday Ride November 19 MOJOS MUNDARING
The usual gathering at Mojo’s for a morning coffee. The main point of discussion was the hazards for motorcyclist. There was no agreement for a single destination so the departure was segmented. Some headed or home, some to find some dirt, destination unknown. The solo had company for Toodyay with the remainder heading for Shackleton.
No food at Shackleton so returned dined at the Quairading Café. It was pleasantly warm inland away from the hills with a comfortable 29 degrees. The return home through the hill felt cool when it dropped down to 24 degrees. Major road works on the Cunderdin-Quairading Road, and on the Goldfields road the holes appear to be getting more numerous.

Thanks Brian for leading an interesting ride to a new destination Shackleton. Perfect day for a Wheatbelt ride with good company on the Beemers.
