Bemer Dave Shoots Through Blue

Post by Swampy »

Well at long last Bemer Dave has departed are shores to be reunited with his bride in Thailand after a separation of over a year due to the Covid 19 spread!!

He flew out late this afternoon on a Singapore Airlines Flight. He sent me a photo of himself in the aircraft and looked pretty lonely as he was one of only 22 passengers in Economy

Dave hopes to return to Perth visit us in September of next year all going well but meantime it's Bon Voyage to a long term great member of our club!!

Stay Safe Dave!!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Thank you Swampy, Pete and Goldie for your kind words. It's been really nice getting back here and the weather in Phuket has been averaging 28 to 31 most days. I've been keeping up to date with the rides you have been doing and look forward to reading about many more to come. Will eventually get to Bangkok around 10th or 11th of August.
Border run is just around the corner and to anyone reading this that has not done the Border run, go for it, it's a really great ride and worth doing at least once in a lifetime.
