Sunday in the sun!!

Post by Swampy »

The sun bought out some wallflowers this morning for brekkie at Cat's. No Names No Pack Drill, You know who you are!! We hope you enjoyed your hibernation guys?

Someone even lobbed up on a Honda????

Just for a change, I decided to head off to Toodyay via Bullsbrook and Julimar Road with Sophie, Nick and Scruff also tagging along for the ride.

We enjoyed a relaxed and pleasant ride along reasonably quiet roads soaking up Spring Sunshine through some beautiful green and gold countryside!!
(Yes I know canola is yellow but gold sounded better!!)

The Cola Cafe was busy with bikers and day trippers in cars but we still had no problem finding a vacant table and settled down for coffee and a bite to eat!!
Scruff ordered some fancy biscuit thingies and I was very surprised he actually passed on ordering his normal "High Tea"??

Nannup Nick informed us he was breaking in two new Michelins on his Adventure, His third round of tyres this year!!

We discovered Sophie had blown a head light bulb on her little pristine sportster and Scruff mentioned he would be burning Grass Trees on Tuesday, Just because he could!!

We split up after lunch with Nick and Sophie heading home via Toodyay Road and Scruff and me via Clackline and GEH!!

A lovely day spent out in some welcome sunshine with some good company as an added bonus!!

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Swampy, you were no where to be seen once we tuned off toward to Clackline. After you passed me watering weeds off the road just before Spencers Rd I made the decision to head to Spencers Brook, York, and home via GSH, GEH. Brilliant riding, jes..... these Beemers are great bikes. Roll on the RT.
