Re: Thursday Ride November 4 Mojos Mundaring
Considering the excellent weather and the promise of a ride to somewhere bloody fantastic the numbers at Mojos were down. Ross had to attend a burn and following a phone call departed quickly. Bozo and Vic had other business so it left Nick, Sophie, B5, Bill and me to glide in the direction of Quairading our planned lunch stop.
We decided to go straight there, so along the GEH to The Lakes, along the GSH to York, which was pleasant and unusual as we usually do the Talbots, with a toilet break in York. Out of York and a direct ride to Quairading arriving 11:30ish for an early lunch. All the farmland is drying out taking on the summer patina, with lots of farming action with hay bailing.
Sandwiches, burgers, toasties all very tasty were consumed with the usual problems of the world discussed and resolved.
Some fuelled up in Quairading and we retraced our route for a while before turning off on the Beverley Rd. Nice run to Beverley.
Through the roadworks in Beverley along Waterhatch onto our favourite Talbots.
The ride finished at The Lakes with 320km notched up when I returned home. Special thanks to B5 for outstanding TEC duties and the rest of the team for company and superb riding manners.

Re: Thursday Ride November 4 Mojos Mundaring
Would have preferred to be there then assisting my son and his wife move house from a 7th floor apartment in Glendalough.
Lift Broke down so hard slog moving fridge, washing machine etc. down 7 floors of stairs.
Unable to finish so returned Friday 0900 hrs, Thankfully lift repaired but still took until 1530 before I returned home!!
Not a job for old people I can assure you, but all finished now. I think I am too!!!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
