Although nothing was posted three riders turned up Ascot Gloria Jeans to risk the weather for a ride. Over coffee the initial discussion started with the prospect of rain and other natural phenomena. Just before sunrise there was a dazzling display with the crescent moon aligned with several planets. On my ride past the airport observed was a double rain. Added to the discussion was another phenomena known as parhelion ( sun dogs ).
B/5, Mark with Peter in the lead headed out to have a dry run up to Mojo’s via Helena Valley. Joining us there were Ross & Nick. After discussing Ross's selection of fruit trees for his block, four of us headed out to Toodyay via Breeze, Mayo & Grass Valley. For the first half of the ride there was only light showers. A quick stop at the Pelham Lookout before descending to the Cola café. Not surprisingly the Café was relatively empty, with no other motorcycles visible. After Coffee/Hot chocolate and toasties it was a dry run home via Julimar & Chittering Valley.
Another enjoyable day riding with good company.
Thanks, Peter, for taking the lead.
