Though I would test out my rain gear before Saturdays ride, however the weather was much better than expected from the forecast.
Small cells of rain moving through at a fast rate. Caught the edge of the front getting to Ascot Gloria Jeans.
A dry run up the lower Helena Valley route to have a coffee with Ross at Mojo’s. Then a solo loop through Toodyay before to heading for home. One short rain shower along Julimar, then intermittent sunshine for the Chittering Valley. Bullsbrook must have had a heavy down poor evident from very wet roads and big puddles.
Approaching Perth there two short heavy showers followed by brief blue sky with a hint of sunshine.
Overall, a good day’s ride being 13 - 15 degrees, heated grips not used and not enough continuous rain to proof test my waterproofing.
