Nice little gathering at the Dome this morning with Vic, RAC Rob, Nannup Nick, Nurzo and Sophie with visits from Peter and Bozo !!
Scruff came and went early as his dog had apparently suffered a stroke but the late news is she is still with us although a little shaky!!
Vic had other commitments, Rob went home to prepare a speech, Nick went for a ride with Bozo's group while Nurzo went searching for more "Frequent Flyer Points"
That left Sophie and me to head out on a glorious Spring-like morning For Bullbrook, Chittering valley and a bustling Toodyay arriving around 1000 hrs.
Had a chat with the locals and learned that Mike from the Cola Cafe was up and around improving daily from his stroke!!
Had a very pleasant chat with "Sophisticated Sophie" before we returned to the Flatlands of Perth via Toodyay Road where we saw an extremely large Police group heading towards Toodyay!!
The group includes a Booze Bus, 4-5 Highway Patrol cars and innumerable Police on Motorcycles patrolling the road from Great Eastern Highway to past Gidgegannup!!
We felt very pleased to be heading in the opposite direction away from the action!!
Arrived home after a pleasurable ride in the country around 1230.
