Cooler day for a cool ride Standard, leaving Gloria Jeans at 7:45am to climb up to MOJOS MUNDARING for a 9:15ish am departure to some cool place. DDD

6 riders at GJ’s with B/5 leading us on one of his mystery tours up the scarp to Mojos, with another 2 riders meeting us there. Hadn’t been to Wongan Hills for a while so that was our chosen lunch target. I led off with Rob, Digger, MMM and young Mr Grice as TEC. We tracked through Stoneville, Mt Helena, Chidlow and down Mayo to Toodyay Rd, then Salt Valley and Sandplain through the outskirts of Toodyay on the Goomalling road. Short stop in Goomalling then straight through to Wongan Hills.
With temperatures around high twenties it was very pleasant eating, drinking and chatting outside the Wongan Hills Cafe of Note under the nice wide shady verandah. Main topic of conversation was Diggers planned ride next week. Sounds like fun.
MMM offered to lead us home through Goomalling,Northam and Toodyay then across to Wooroloo and Chidlow. Thanks Mark.
Thanks to all for an entertaining day and special thanks to young Mr Grice for superb TEC duties. Knocked up 415 kms today so the RT is now fully run in.
