Five of us met up at Gloria Jeans. the Two Marks turned up on CF Motos. The meaning of the 39ºN on their fuel tanks was explained as an area for adventure. If you plot 39ºN, 105ºE, its location is Inner Mongolia, in China. From the satellite view looks likes it would be a very technical ride, all sand & rocks. MMark was hiding the spelling error on his new GS cloned toolbox. The sticker however didn’t last long as it fell off during the days ride.

A look at the weather radar did not show the rain that was forecasted so we all headed off to Mojo’s following B5’s, with Peter Bee as TEC. The route out was via the GNhwy bypass, up the Old York Rd and on to JF National Park. The intent was to go through the park but this was denied as Park Road was closed for maintenance, so we carried on to turndown Margaret Road. Back on track it was up to Mundaring via Parkerville.

At Mojo’s Bill and DFS had already arrived. After the usual banter the DDD vote was for the Red Vault in Beverley. Peter Bee took the lead with five riders heading out via Lilydale and Breeze Roads. Back to Werribee Rd and on to Hawke Ave, Inkpen and Talbot Roads. The majority choice for lunch was hamburgers. The ride home was to continue further east to Greenhills South Road, then west to York for a refueling stop. Carrying on via Spencer's Brook, turning off after Bakers Hill for the usual rat run to Mundaring. Here the group split to head for home.

Thanks all for your enjoyable company, another great day out riding.

Thanks B/5 for TEC and lead duties and the detailed write up. Yes a great day was had with the weather fine unexpectedly until 10 minutes from home with just a few drops.
