Nine Nigh 2023

Post by Bozo »

With Catalano's closed early morning the club met at the Dome just up the road. There was a festive buzz with an excellent turnout for the last Sunday of the year. Rhonda had just taken delivery of a 1330 cc Can Am Spyder F3 and was very happy with the dramatic changes to power, functionality and storage. All that it needs is a BMW roundel.

Nine riders headed through Bickley Valley and Mundaring to get to Talbot West Road and Qualen Road. Adrian, 3 Amp Nick, Mick S, His Royal Griceness, R90S Mark, Ralph, David P, Peter Bee and Bozo enjoyed the relatively cool weather and quiet roads before passing by Poodle (or Boot) Rock.

A run through York and Spencer's Brook was followed by a deviation on Trimmer Road to get to the old alignment of the Great Eastern Highway. Bakers Hill Bakery was open and bike banter prevailed. The run home was via Oyston, Ingpen, Vineyard and Liberton Roads to get to Chidlow. The ride ended at Mount Helena. A relaxed ride group combined with excellent tail end Charlie work by Peter Bee made for a great day out.

Farewell 2023.
