With B/5 leading 6 of us out of Ascot we quickly passed through one of his “standard” routes through Hazelmere, Helena Valley, Hovea, Glen Forrest and finally Mundaring with the existing 6 riders joining another 4 at Mojos.
Astro had kindly offered to lead so 8 set off with another joining us as we headed off down the GEH to Glen Forrest cutting across to the back blocks of Parkerville and onto the mighty O’Brien Rd. Brigadoon looked fine as we descended the Scarp, crossing the railway and diverting into Upper Swan, past the Ellenbrook Speedway and into Bullsbrook. Headed towards the Chittering Valley but then headed South into the new roads of South Chittering, very entertaining and previously uncharted territory. Across to Muchae E Rd through Chittering Valley, joining the GNH, viewed the hills behind Bindoon and rocketed in a devious route to the CU@Park Cafe in Gingin.
Well the lunch was a staggered affair with few staff and lots of customers. There was some criticism of the TEC getting his first and the Lead last, by at least 20 minutes, but first in first serve applies even if it meant jostling others out of the way

Astro led us west out to the Brand where parting of the way’s occurred.
Thank you Astro for leading us onto some new roads which B/5 has mapped and we may introduce to Bozo. Corner marking worked a treat with a good constant flow and allowed the TEC to see all except Astro.
Thanks to all for a great Autumn Thursday Ride
