As B/5 and I left Gloria Jeans I spied the familiar headlights of an RT just behind us with Bozo on board, perfect timing. We were joined at Mojos by Mick, Bill, the ever young Mr Grice and David. With Bozo and Y Mr Grice having other commitments it was a group of 5 that headed off with a destination of Brookton.
The usual run of Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo and Wundowie soon had us onto the GEH for a short distance before Oyston, Inkpen and Yarra set us up for the Talbots. Weather overcast but fine, around 22 degrees, perfect for swinging along the Talbots and arriving in Beverley. The run on the GSH to Brookton was slowed by several kms of road construction. But we hit the Brookton Café and Deli and enjoyed the goodies in the adjacent park with no rain and some sunshine.Lively discussion over lunch and in no time we all started own way home via the Brookton Hwy.
The rain started about 10 minutes out of Brookton and only ceased around Pickering Brook. As B/5 and I headed through Kalamunda we started to dry out and by the time we hit Atlas at Ascot for cheap fuel we were dry.
Thanks to all for an awesome day and especially B/5 for a solid TEC performance.
