With a forecast of 95% chance of rain forecast the final destination will again be left for a decision on the day.
All being well it will be the usual departure time so 7:30 from Ascot Gloria Jeans.
( For those on the wrong side of the road it will be from Redcliffe )

Re: Thursday 25th July MOJOS MUNDARING
Mick braved the traffic to meet me at Gloria Jeans for ride up the hill via Mundaring Weir Road.
At Mojo’s we were joined by Nick & Steven. After viewing the weather, it was concluded that it was going to be wet whatever destination was decided. All accepted Greenhills Tavern.
Nick needed to get back so peeled off early at Toodyay Rd. The route out was to loop back behind Gidgegannup to Reserve Road. Then Salt Valley, Katrine and Southern Brook, through Meckering, on to Quellington Rd, Goldfields and Marwick. On the ride out we encountered light showers easing off east of Northam. A duck was lucky the it did a left and not a right circuit after taking off from the road. A 28 parrot not so lucky, losing a few feathers by just brushing pass my leg, it was on the road for the second bike but gone by the third, so hopefully surviving to be a bit more road aware.
At Greenhills, peppered squid and a burger was the lunch selection. We even had a bit of sunshine while enjoying our lunch out on the veranda. A direct route home. Heading through the weather with heavy showers near York and just before The Lakes. A brief stop to bit our farewells. The rain easing off the nearer I got to the city.
Overall, a very enjoyable ride – thanks guys for your company

Great to see the real men continue riding in inclement weather.

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
