Jurien Bay - North meets South BBQ

Join me at 9am Saturday 14th of December, at Bindoon Bakehaus for stands up at 9.15am, for a leisurely ride through the countryside as we wind our way to picturesque Jurien Bay.

Ride will be sealed roads suitable for all types of bikes and skill levels.

We will meet up with some of our Geraldton friends and Jurien Bay locals for a BBQ lunch, we will cook some meat and enjoy with salad in a bun. Some water and soft drinks included in registration. $10 per head.

Bring your own Alcoholic refreshments.

Lunch will be wrapped up by mid afternoon, allowing those who need to get back to metro to be home before dark. Others may choose to book a room, or set camp in the Jurien area.

There is a lovely Cafe in Greenhead for Breakfast on Sunday morning for those making a weekend of it.

Thanks to Cookie for again organizing and navigating today's ride through the region north of Perth.

Thanks also to Trish & Anth, and the Jurien Bay Community facilities for the excellent welcome and BBQ at Jurien Bay today.

Great to catch up with the Geraldton lads. A good meet-you-half-way plan.

There was quite a large group today. It stretched out a loong way.

The patience of our 2 tail end charlies is commendable. Thanks Pete B and B/5.

It was a testament to disciplined corner marking that kept us all on track.

You guys (said corner markers) that stood around in 35 degC heat today waiting for the loooong tail to arrive... Many thanks!

The ride home was certainly much cooler albeit a little windier.

Disheartening to see the burnt out country. Hope these areas recover when the rains eventually come...
