Flying on Great Circles

Post by Bozo »

A big surprise on Sunday at Catalano's with Dave S arriving on a shiny black BMW R18 Transcontinental.

A dozen riders circled their way backwards and forwards to pilot their way through the Bickley Valley and Fern Road to reach Mundaring. Rod Rocket Peter, Vic, Multi Media Mark, Cameron, Pete Two Volts, Rainer, R90S Mark, Wightman, Lou, Mick S, Peter Bee and Bozo took advantage of the stunning weather to loop through Stoneville and Sawyers Valley before a break at the Lakes. Departing from the normal route we circled to Doconing Road in the the unusually named locality of Beechina to link back to Talbot West Road via Ingpen Road and Linley Valley Road.

An enthusiastic run on Talbot West Road and Talbot Road was followed by some slow circles in York created by a sleep deprived Bozo losing his way before resuming the run to Bakers Hill via Spencer's Brook.

The run home was via Coates Road and Burma Road before the ride ended at Mount Helena.

A glorious day to be out with a tolerant group that were well managed by the tail end Charlie Peter Bee.
