Forecast rain but very early in the morning then clearing so let’s try our luck once again. Leaving Gloria Jeans Ascot at 7:30am then up to Mojos Mundaring for a departure at 9:15am ish. DDD

Our fantastic luck continued with no rain during our ride, but some showers for a couple of the guys coming to GJ’s.
Dave and Tom joined me at GJ’s for the run to Mojos with Andrew, from QLD, joining us on route. The Red Vault Café at Beverley was our destination as the 4 of us headed off from Mojos with the temperature around 8 degrees.
Standard route of Stoneville, Mt Helena, Chidlow then Lilydale, Breeze, Mayo and Needham to get us to Wooroloo then out to the GEH and Inkpen to arrive at Yarra and the mighty Talbots. The temperature had crept up to 12 degrees with some major patches of sunshine. Very pleasant riding as we arrived at Beverley at approx 11;30am.
Sat outside in the warming sunshine and covered the major issues of the world as we munched our lunches.
The return run was the Talbots and GSH to The Lakes where the ride concluded. Temperature only went above 12 as we descended the Scarp.
260 km completed and thanks to all for the company and great TEC duties by Dave and Tom.
