October Long weekend 2011 – 1st, 2nd, 3rd October 2011
The BMW Owners Club of South Australia invites all motorcyclists to attend their rally to be held at the
Roonka water activities centre approx 7km from Blanchetown on the banks of the River Murray. Camping,
bunkhouse accommodation and powered sites are available as well as kitchen facilities.

Basic 2 course roast dinner – Bring your own crockery and cutlery

The Roonka water activity centre is owned by Scouts SA
and is situated on the banks of the River Murray a short
drive from beautiful downtown Blanchetown. Canoe hire is
available as well as the use of a flying fox [if we can find a
responsible adult].
Activities available in the area include the Barossa Valley
wine district and the towns of Waikerie and Morgan in a
45km radius and of course all the fish you can catch.
The hotel in Blanchetown will have the AFLGrand Final on
a big screen Saturday afternoon and the Club can arrange
transport for any fans that wish to imbibe.
The usual awards will be available for longest distance
male, female, pillion, sidecar etc for both BMW and non-
BMW attendees.
