19 riders and a passenger were involved with the ride that started after breakfast at Catalano's and headed to Dwellingup via Serpentine Dam. John Tuckwell, Rainer, Raider, Ross C, Lefty, Wightman, Alex + Stu, His Royal Griceness, Richard, 3 Amps Nick, Mick S, R90S Mark, Ralph, Ted, Rob, James, Peter Bee and Bozo stopped for a chat at Churchman's Brook Dam where members discussed included Lyndon Greeve, Mick Hill, Hans Zimmerman, Andrew Varney, Nick Applin and Dallas Tuckwell.
At Dwellingup we talked about Bill Marsh, Neil Bakker, Gerry Atkinson, Gunner Glaessner, Rob Rothwell and Paul Skinner.
After lunch we travelled to the Nanga Brook Road and the site of the 2001 accident involving Gunther Glaessner and Rob Rothwell. Raider and Lefty spoke about the accident.
Travelling to the intersection of Elliot Road and Hopelands Road we talked about Bill Marsh who was killed hitting straying cows. A final wrap up remembering Ariel Leano, Paul Keller, Cris Rees, Bruce Cutter, Franz Pribil and Peter Unger.
A sombre day but important to remember those who helped found the club and develop it. Thanks to Raider, Lefty, Rainer, Ross C and Alex for sharing their memories of past members.
