At the March general meeting we will be voting on the 2010 Event/Ride of the Year - the Gunther Glaessner Trophy (dedicated in memory of all members lost through illness & accident).

Please put forward your nominations (and votes if you're not going to be at the meeting) for the 2010 Event/Ride.

For hospitality, sensational scenery, riding in the snow, winding mountain roads, greenest time in Australia for many a year, water everywhere, great friendships on the road [ Whitfield and Yackandandah ], superbly-organised stop-overs in Rhyll, Wangaratta and Bendigo [not to mention Shepparton Hospital], dirt tracks around Phillip Island, rain, cold [ 2 degrees in the Snowy's ], hot [ 40 degrees on the Nullabor ], lost one rider [ sore bum ], lost one rider [ throws R1200RT down the road ], successful recovery of Cookie from Shepparton Hospital, fast blast in new Nissan GTR Godzilla, great food and chefs on Phillip Island, ferry ride to Phillip Island, ferry across the Murray, GPS tracked on the web, green Flinders Ranges, etc...

A fantastic ride, McFarkle, if this catches on, you'll need a bigger shed on the island...
