I'll be there with my K1200RS. Not vintage but not so old either. Bit like me. I'll also bring my other half.

Hi Jon,
I spoke to Lu about going down to MR and she is enthusiastic about the idea. Her sister has a place somewhere south of there where we would stay on the Saturday night. When do the Voyager folks want the bikes on site ?

Cheers,

Gavin.

This sounds like it would be fun. I'll even bring my German wife !

Will plan to be part of this but it will see how work roster unfolds.

Cheers.

John, numbers stand at 22 so far (see first post) where are you proposing to camp the night?
Also everyone needs to take note that the bikes need to be onsite at 10:30am and probably have to stay put until 5:30pm on the Saturday.

Cheers

Hello to all

Jono did you mean we need to stay until 5.30pm on Sunday? I thought we were only required until 3.30? I'm not stressed either way as long as we know before hand.

John,

Just read Cookies query on time to leave on Sunday. Is it correct that we are expected to stay till 5:30pm ? I'm not keen to be riding home on Sunday that late from MR. Can you confirm the departure time on Sunday just in case.

Also, has anyone considered accommodation types? If its going to be wet (quite possible at MR) I'd rather avoid sleeping outside if possible, especially if going to be outside all day Sunday in damp clothes.
Yeah...might sound woosy but am taking her indoors and I need to survive the weekend.

Regards Geoff

The organisers have said that they would prefer bikes to stay within the venue till 5pm but will not stop anyone from leaving early (hence the 3 o'clock get out before the televised game starts) We can let the organisers know who has to leave early, so that they do so in a quiet manner.

Haven't looked at ACC yet, will make a plan when we get back at the end of the month

Hallo all of you aspirant Margaret Riverers. I have some directions and more information from the Voyager Estate. Pls PM me on 040 6112916 if you don't receive the email. If you have not confirmed you are coming or want to do so now, pls call me or leave a message on the forum as Sara wants to firm up the numbers. I think that we can still do the ride down on Saturday 14th, meeting Pinjarra railway museum/station at 10 am but everyone will have to make their own accommodation arrangements down there. We will hopefully stay over in
Busselton on Saturday night, with a comfortable 45 km ride down to MR in time for the 11 am o'clock shutoff. The bikes must all be arranged (polished/waxed??) and in their allotted area by 11.

THey will be playing the WCE vs Dockers match on a big screen, from 4pm, so pls think about whether you want to leave before the game starts (so that all the early leavers can leave together (and quietly!)

Hi John,

I am a definite starter for the weekend and will join up for the ride down with the group at Pinjarra on Saturday morning. Any further clarification about getting the bikes out at around 3pm Sunday ?

Cheers,

Gavin.
