I had one of these for about 6 months, I didn't use it much except for finding the odd tyre shop on my trip around oz, so probably not the best person to quiz about its performance, tended to use maps instead.
However mine disappeared one evening on the Burke Development Road, the mounting setup is hopeless, the cradle the GPS sits in is useless it doesn't secure the unit properly and the gimble mount (attatched to the handlebars) is not robust enough, can't keep it tight, security is also an issue, it would take someone about 3 seconds to pinch it.
So if you get off the black top forget it or it will forget you, black top maybe.
As I said relative performance I am unsure, I am not that way inclined.

I just the next question is, what are you going to mount the zumo onto?
Most problems can be solved with a suitable application of throttle!
Bitumen is a tool, to get you to the dirt.

Well, the Zumo's arrived whilst I've been away, so it'll get a run on Saturday to Bully's.

Anyone got any good trips saved on file, so I can load 'em into it :?:

Thanks again to all who contributed to my dribble..............
