Re: LOOK....Up In The Sky...........ITS......?
High everyone,
many thanks for your encouragement and kind thoughts.....
Moving around much easier today (Thursday) but the good gear from the hospital ran out Tuesday, so I'm on the Nurofen..
The right ankle looks like a a puffer fish smeared with blueberry jam, but I'm walking OK (read limping).
Made it around the block last night, undercover of darkness, so nobody would see me and stop me to ask the obvious questions...:What have you done to yourself??....
Back & ribs are improving everyday and the speed at which I am doing things has increased from "bullet time" to slow motion....
Bike should be getting moved from Bully's today to Auto Classic for assessment, and I really should get my gear out of my car and check it over for the insurance claim (but just not looking forward to it)
Hoping to catch up at breakfast or next Monday's meeting.
Keep safe!!

Davey, glad to hear you are OK. Hurts doesnt it!
You will find Shannons good to deal with but from past experience choose your repairer carefully!
You may like to give me a call.
Cheers,
McFarkle

Re: LOOK....Up In The Sky...........ITS......?
Thanks Dave,
I nominated Auto Classic, so here's hoping all goes well...Looked over my gear quickly this morning and it looks in pretty good nick. Helmet & visor badly scratched, but the rest looks OK.
I will have another look in the morning.
...Hurt ??? Hell yeah

Re: LOOK....Up In The Sky...........ITS......?
Hi all, latest update:
buying the bike back and will fix it up to 'as was' prior to the last "launch"
Still sore and limping a bit on the Starboard side.
Shanon's have paid out to replace my lid and damaged duffle bag, so have been and ordered a new lid in my size.
Cleaning up the garage in preparation for the new 'winter project' as it's in a bit of a mess.
As Bully suggests, I may post a list of items that I will be chasing up.
Has anyone any experience with:
Eagle Screens in Thornlie ?
Good place to source Beemer/ Pattern parts/ alternative suppliers?
And no suggestions on training wheels please................................................
Cheers

I have used Eagle screens in the past, provide a great product, have now changed hands ( a couple of years ago ) and no longer have a shop front as such, everything is done over the net.

Re: LOOK....Up In The Sky...........ITS......?
Yeah, I saw that. How the hell do you get to see/try their products on yer bike before deciding which one you want to buy??
You might select one online, then not like it
I see Motorrad Garage advertise ZTechnik..http://www.ztechnik.com/ztechNews/Poly_MPG.html anyone know anything about these?, and there's Wunderlich. Gav's got one and reckons its pretty good.
I rang Renthal (Cassons) about bars. Could get messy as their products are really only for MX and so all the "bits" might not fit.. end weights, switches etc. Could get very messy and frustrating, so might go with the OEM. Bugger
See you at breakfast

Re: LOOK....Up In The Sky...........ITS......?
BTW Davey,
Had a puncture (nail )thru my rear tyre yesterday
, Luckily only 20 metres from my driveway.
Have repaired with a temporary plug but "Tyres for Bikes" Closed all weekend so can't get it fixed properly until Tuesday blast it.
Not taking the risk riding it anywhere until than so will be driving my ute to Catalano's neighbours cafe tomorrow
