I am planning a ride out Saturday late morning, camp overnight and a leisurely return Sunday, location yet to be set. Mainly sealed roads, maybe some dirt into camp site - thinking of ~250km radius from Perth.
Let me know if you are interested and we can hatch a plan from there.

Hello fellow campers
I am looking at a camp site south east of Perth ~2.5 hours, mainly sealed roads, Congelin Campground, Dryandra, it has toilets and camping facilities, $7 per head per night, walk trails, bird watching etc.
Or another site ~40kms from Congelin, called Boyagin Rock, which also has toilets and camping – but no fee.
Meet Saturday 1st June, Coffee shop / Cafe on George St Byford at noon to have a coffee and sandwich then head off at 12.30pm
You are welcome to join us for a ride out of town and turn back when ready

Enjoy yourselves guys and don't forget your "THERMALS"

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Re: June long weekend overnighter
Toni and Cookie enjoyed a brisk jaunt around the country side, around 400 km trip, with some lovely green and freshly ploughed paddocks, very little traffic on Saturday. Congelin Camp ground was heavily populated with happy campers, we befriended a unsuspecting couple whom had set up their camper trailer next to a fire ring and enjoyed the warmth of the fire whilst trading camping / holiday stories.
We woke to drizzle this morning, serve of porridge for breakfast, pack up the wet tents before heading into Pingelly for home made pie at morning tea, steady run up to Beverly, Westdale, along the scarp to Welshpool road before joining the jungle and running up the Tonkin to home.
Great camp out and pleasant ride to boot
