Guy the route that I'm taking would be a piece of piss for you, there is a harley out on the road tonight that we'll catch tomorrow.

The Hyden- Norseman rd is in better condition than the Kwinana fwy

We are leaving my place at 6 heading out on the Brookton hwy, quick top up at Corrigin and smoko at Hyden, next stop the breakaways then on to Norseman, hope to be at the 90 mile straight campsite by 4.30 for a cleansing ale.

I'm leaving kelmscottt at 6.30 ish, see you on the road!

I hit that pothole whilst overtaking a little van that swerved towards me, got the old girl fairly airborne.

Got back to Perth at 5.00pm Monday just ahead of the rain.
Friday night camp had a few visitors in transit to other destinations, and was good to see a few Esperance riders there too, the Moto-Gourmets.
Had a few detours on the way back, to Cocklebiddy Cave and a few Alphabet related locations.
Sprockett and Brian carried on east, Brian to meet McFarkle and co. while Sprockett was bound for Streaky Bay, lock up your grannies!
Bully left early in a failed attempt to join the Farrkriders, should have belted up and down the Freeway a couple of times mate, to get the k's up.
Guy had ran out of King Browns and left early to find more.
A great weekend in good company, what more can you ask.

A bike starting woke me at 03.45, (mabe Robin) I tried to sleep for the next half hour, then thought might as well get up & started slowly packing. Could hear Dave Sprocket snoring within his tent, thought to myself, big day ahead, no point in hanging around, so pushed bike past Bully's swag, started her & chugged off into the darkness. Spent the night at the Southern Cross CP, a few beers at the Palace Hotel. My first border run....loved it.

the bike at 3.45 woke me as well( bloody Farrrken riders) , gave me a chance to pump up my airbed again.

didn't hear you leave though Guy. I went past you in Southern Cross then, I stopped for a beer in Coolgardie to wait for the sun to go down, had dinner at the roadhouse in Southern Cross with a truck driver that I know, he was up there for the motocross, had coffee in Merredin and then squirted for home.

Well apparently I believe its 1000km in one day, so for some who stopped at 90 mile straight don't qualify. But
if you are like Guy who couldn't see his fellow riders camp on the side of the road with a bonfire going, who rode up the road and back again may have qualified . But at least he found us so he didn't have to camp alone.

I think it's supposed to be 1000miles , so that would have meant the 1452 from the border plus a trip to Bunbury and back just to make sure, still don'get it.

Perhaps home via Esperance , Albany, Walpole, Augusta, Bunbury and then home. Get a boyscout faarrken rider badge and a chocolate frog or caramello koala .

Just arrived home. Cold rain from Southern Cross.
Great ride both to the border and beyond.
The fog was diabolical when we passed through Brookton sparrows Friday. A real pea soupa. One time nearly turned brown when the morning sun burst through and virtually blinded us both. I braked thinking I was going to plough up Bully's arse, only for the car following me would do us both!
Several left very early Sunday leaving only Reklaw and I for breakfast. Pushed across the Nullabor and amazed at the Emu's Dingo and those huge Eagles! The ever changing scenery and every shade of green you could imagine. Only stopping for the usual photos, on through Ceduna to Streaky Bay.
Streaky Bay Hotel Sunday night for a twin room with Brian/5 8). He pushed on to meet Cookie, Mcfarckle and company.
Monday, rest day exploring Streaky Bay. Oysters were superb (thanks OB).
Tuesday, back to Border Village. Did some whale watching, awesome stuff as there were several there and some calves. You could hear them blowing!!
Wednesday, onto Frazer Range.
Today, go Esperance or via Coolgardie ?? as no coverage at FR, so unable to get a late weather update, opted for Coolgardie, but copped heavy rain from SC.
So, a very loooong hot shower and cup of tea. Door to door 3,930 klms.
Well done Chris on the ride back with the plod bike. If we get a couple more, you have some fun around town
New Scouts have a nice square profile now....

So whos'e up for a Farken Rider trip?.....Brian/5 and I had an interesting over dinner Sunday evening with some Victorian Farken Riders  apparently 2,100 klms is a fair crack
Bully, sorry you had a punctured air mattress, probably been a while since something went down on you
Glad to hear everyone got back safely. Anyone seen Guy? or is he still riding backwards and forwards at Balladonia
