Reconditioning cylinder heads.
Reconditioning cylinder heads.
Ok I am new to the club and looking for advice. I have an old R51/3 that has cylinder Heads that need reconditioning with loving care! The exhaust collars also need work/replacement. Can anyone supply a contact?

Ray Peak might be your man for head reconditioning, one of the club members recently had heads overhauled for unleaded fuel, Guy was it Ray that you sent your heads to? I think he also does the twin spark conversions.

Re: Reconditioning cylinder heads.
After a bit of searching I think this is it
R.J's B.M.W.
Contact : Ray Peake.
Ph/Fax (07) 5543 5962
rjbmw@activ8.net.au
You have to call ahead and then send the heads over to him.
Alternatively if you can hang on I will see if I can source name for a local service

That's great. Local would be nice but happy to send them out if necessary. Happy to wait a bit to see if there is anyone in WA if you can find a contact. Thanks once again.
