WA vehicle registration-modifications? Advice

Post by DirtBoy12 »

Guys
Need to register new bike in WA - which is currently ACT registered - informed it needs to go over the pits. Anyone know whether modifications such as extra fuel tank will be an issue? Someone told me bike needs to be standard spec to get a pass?

Adice appreciated thanks ... :x

Hi there.

Pretty sure that non standard modern bikes can pass........If you try and concessionally license a 25 + yr old bike, it needs to be standard to qualify for concessional license. If there is any doubt, the worst that can happen is the bloke at the pits will send you to an engineer to have something checked (that may not meet ADR)
