didn't you do this last year, got all the way there and then came home the day before, so missed the actual Border Run as such.

I'm sure that I passed you out the other side of Norseman on the Friday.

Do you know where the camp site is NOW for Friday night?
Or do we need to camp right on the edge of the road

There is a good annotated aerial view of the Border Village on the Far Riders Forum at

or http://farriders.com/uploads/images/140 ... illage.jpg

The informal camping area is marked "Camp Davo"

Richard, I will also be riding a K1200LT, with a trailer.
I am planning to leave the Caltex Starshop on Great Eastern Highway, just past Roe Highway, at 5:3o am on Friday 1st August,
camping at the start of the 90 Mile Straight Friday night, arriving Border Village Saturday arvo.
Leaving Border on Sunday, back in Perth by Monday afternoon/evening.

I had a rear tyre delimitation on the rear when i got to the border last year hung around for and hour and headed back to kalgoorlie to get the back tyre replaced.
I had three blisters on the the rear tyre with was made in Basil and not in Germany is was a metzeler brand which let me down.

kind regards from richard

I am not going this year.
If somebody can pick up my badge for last year, I would be obliged.
